Bert Sutcliffe Oval is a cricket pitch at Lincoln University in Lincoln, New Zealand, which has hosted first-class matches as well as international matches for both women’s and under-19 level cricket. In February 2000, the ground was renamed in memory of the New Zealand opening batsman, formerly known as BIL Oval.
In November 1999, when England A faced the North Island in the Shell Conference, Cricket New Zealand’s first-class debut took place. It has since hosted several A team games, as well as domestic matches, including the 2009 State Championship final.

History
The most common scenario has been to utilize the ground to host women’s one-day international cricket. It hosted the final and both semi-finals of the 2000 Women’s World Cup, as well as the major venue at the 2003 World Series of Women’s Cricket and New Zealand women’s team matches versus touring sides.
The first one-day international cricket match was held at the ground during the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier on January 23, 2014, between the Netherlands and Kenya.
