Greenfield International Stadium in Trivandrum, also known as Trivandrum International Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium used for football and cricket in Kerala, India. The stadium is situated in Kariavattom in Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India.The stadium was constructed on 36 acres of land leased by the Kerala University for Rs 94.2 Lakhs (US$146,527.23) a year for 15 years. It is India’s first DBOT outdoor stadium, designed, built, operated, and transferred. On November 7th, 2017, the Greenfield Stadium became India’s 50th international cricket venue when it hosted a T20I against New Zealand. The venue will host its first ODI on November 1st 2018.

History
The first stadium in India to be constructed on the DBOT (design, build, operate, and transfer) basis was inaugurated in April 2010. It is also the first stadium in India to be built on an annuity basis.The company that built it will run the Greenfield stadium for 15 years. After that, the University of Kerala will take possession of it and pay rent for 36 acres.
