Kibworth Cricket Club New Ground, located in Kibworth, Leicestershire, England, was established in 2006 to replace the original ground, which was sold for development after the 2005 season. Situated adjacent to the development that now occupies the old site, the new ground hosted its inaugural match in 2006, featuring Kibworth Cricket Club against a Leicestershire CCC XI during Darren Maddy’s benefit year.
In August 2010, the ground saw its first Second XI Championship fixture when Leicestershire Second XI faced Warwickshire Second XI. That same year, it hosted its first Women’s One Day International, with Ireland taking on New Zealand, followed shortly by a match between England and Ireland women. The ground serves as the home of Kibworth Cricket Club, whose first XI competes in the Leicestershire Premier Cricket League.
