The Hurlingham Club Ground is a historic cricket venue situated in the Hurlingham district of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. Owned by the Hurlingham Club, it was officially opened in 1890, with the first recorded cricket match taking place in Hurlingham. The ground hosted its first international match in 1896, when the North of Argentina played against the South of Argentina.
First-class cricket was introduced to the ground in 1912, when Argentina faced the Marylebone Cricket Club. Over the years, four additional first-class matches were held, with the last one taking place in 1938, when Argentina played Sir TEW Brinckman’s XI.
Still active today, the ground continues to host significant cricket events, including the South American Championships, the Americas Championships, and matches in the 2009 ICC World Cricket League Division Three.
