Edgbaston Cricket Ground, also known as the County Ground or Edgbaston Stadium, is a cricket venue in Birmingham’s Edgbaston area. It is home to Warwickshire Cricket Club and the Birmingham Bears T20 team. Since its inception in 1999, Edgbaston has hosted Test matches, One-Day Internationals, and Twenty20 Internationals. The T20 Finals Day has been held at Edgbaston more than any other cricket stadium. From 2021 onwards, the Birmingham Phoenix men’s team will play their home games at Edgbaston in The Hundred competition.
Edgbaston was the first non-Lord’s cricket ground in England to host a major one-day international final when it hosted the ICC Champions Trophy final in 2013. With permanent seating for approximately 25,000 people, it is the fourth-largest cricketing facility in England, after Lord’s, Old Trafford, and The Oval.

Is Edgbaston Cricket Ground Batting Or Bowling Pitch?
While it is a decent batting pitch, seamers will discover movement with cloudy conditions anticipated the whole day. Also, with rain expected to cause significant delays, both sides will be relying on their pacers to take early wickets. Four of the last five games at the venue have been won by side chasers.
