HTML tutorial
The Rwanda Cricket Stadium, also known as Kicukiro Oval, is an important venue for the sport in Rwanda. Officially named the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium, it is Rwanda’s first dedicated international cricket ground and has become a significant site for African cricket. The idea of constructing this stadium began in 2011 when the Rwanda Cricket Stadium Foundation was established as a charity. The goal was to build and manage the first-ever international cricket ground in Rwanda. The stadium was completed in March 2017, and it occupies a 4.5-hectare (11-acre) site on the outskirts of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. The foundation works in partnership with the Marylebone Cricket Club Foundation, and it is managed by a group of cricket enthusiasts from both the UK and Rwanda.
