Judges Field, also known as Gauhati Town Club Ground, is a versatile sports venue located in Guwahati, Assam. Primarily used for football and cricket, the ground serves as the home for the Gauhati Town Club, one of the oldest and most prestigious sports clubs in Northeast India. This historic ground was the site of the prestigious Bordoloi Trophy, one of the top football tournaments in the region, from 1952 to 1957. In cricket, Judges Field has hosted several important matches, including four Ranji Trophy games. Notably, in 1956, the Assam cricket team played against the Orissa cricket team here. The ground also hosted three more Ranji Trophy fixtures during the 1960-1961 season, further cementing its significance in Indian sports history.
