Nehru Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Guwahati, Assam, India, and is operated by the Board of Sports, Government of Assam. Radha Govinda Baruah designed, built, and named the stadium after Nehru. It is used for both football and cricket games. The stadium has a capacity of 15,000 people and was constructed in 1962.It has already hosted 13 One-Day Internationals matches and other cricket events including the Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, and Deodhar Trophy. It has previously hosted the Bordoloi Trophy and GSA Super Division League in football. The park also hosted two top Indian domestic football competitions: Santosh Trophy and Federation Cup.
