Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium is an athletic facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, that was named after Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Sports Club of Gujarat Stadium is another name for it. History
Both the Stadium and the Club House were designed by world-renowned architect Charles Correa, who was out of his way to employ in order to build both structures. The Gandhi-Ashram on the banks of Sabarmati River is a standing physical embodiment of Gandhian thought, and Correa, a master of modern progressive architecture, is also the designer of the Gandhian Ashram on the banks of Sabarmati River.
