History
The Videocon Academy Ground has also been used as a venue for the National Cricket Academy’s coaching camps. In September 2006, the ground was extensively renovated ahead of the 2007 ICC World Twenty20. The renovation included a new pavilion, media centre and players’ facilities.
The ground is currently known as the Saltair Stadium, after it was renamed in October 2016.
