Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club Ground Pitch Report

The Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club Ground, located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has a rich history that dates back to the establishment of the Toronto Cricket Club in 1827, largely through the efforts of George Anthony Barber. The Curling Club joined in 1836, and the Skating Club was added sometime in the mid-1800s. The three clubs eventually amalgamated in 1957. Over the years, the facility has grown to offer not only cricket but also tennis and squash facilities, making it a multi-sport venue. The TCSCC is known as the major ground in the area and has hosted prestigious events such as the Sahara Cups in the 1990s. Until September 2006, the cricket ground was the only venue in Canada approved to host official One Day Internationals (ODIs). During this time, it hosted a total of 31 ODIs, with India and Pakistan playing 16 games against each other at the venue. In August 2006, Canada played their first ODI against Kenya on this ground.
