Marrara Oval, also known as TIO Stadium under naming rights and previously referred to as Football Park, is a multi-sport venue located in Darwin, the capital of Australia’s Northern Territory. Opened in 1991, the stadium primarily hosts Australian rules football, cricket, and rugby league. With a seating capacity of 12,500, it is the largest stadium in the Northern Territory, though it set a record attendance of 17,500 during a 2003 football game featuring the Indigenous All-Stars. Marrara Oval has been a regular venue for Australian Football League (AFL) games since 2004 and National Rugby League (NRL) matches since 2012. It has also hosted international cricket events, including Test and One Day International (ODI) matches, with the most recent cricket fixture held in 2008.
