Is DY Patil Sports Cricket Stadium Batting Or Bowling Pitch?
The entire ground’s outfield has been tilled properly, with 200 tonnes of dirt imported from South Africa to provide a bouncy and genuine surface. On the main ground’s outfield, sand-based grass is utilized, which not only prevents player injuries but also has the benefit of easy drainage. A drainage system beneath the primary surface will assist water dispersal. The four floodlight towers are taller than usual, ensuring that batters do not suffer from glare during evening games. As a result, it is a batting pitch.
