On 24 February 2019, it hosted its first Women’s One Day International (WODI) match, where Australia faced New Zealand, marking a significant milestone in its history. Shortly after, from 20 to 23 March 2019, the ground held its inaugural first-class cricket match during the final round of the 2018–19 Sheffield Shield season, with South Australia taking on Victoria.
